Happy Halloween!!!

The scary thing is the kids are planning on converting the garage into a haunted house...I think I'll go to a hotel.

nightlight photography

Our next photo assignment was to learn how to control our flash and get some creative results. Here are some fun examples of nightlight photography. I placed my camera on a tripod, set the shutter speed to bulb (so I could control how long the shutter stayed open) and then set my flash to rear curtain (meaning the flash would fire as the shutter closed, so I could capture the person) Finally I handed the kids a flashlight and had them 'draw' in the air.

Yup, he's a kid too.

Quick trip up to St.G to visit the kids and paint the nursery. Ambie picked out bedding and accessories so we painted the room to match. Pink and Brown walls with Celery Green chair railing. It's so soft and pretty, but perky too. Can't wait to see baby Haylee in it!

We're (ok, they're) having a girl! Ambie sent me the photos of the ultrasound and my little heart thumped. Here are my favs...:)
